home > regulatory framework overview
Welcome to the regulatory framework section of the SAFEGROUNDS website.
For a number of years, the SAFEGROUNDS Learning Network has produced an information paper on the UK regulatory framework for contaminated land on nuclear-licensed sites and defence sites. The paper provides a factual summary of the key features of the UK regulatory framework and supports the current SAFEGROUNDS consultation documents which reference the paper.
This area of the website has been created with the support of the Environment Agency to facilitate access to this information. It contains the following pages about the regulatory framework for the management of contaminated land on nuclear-licensed sites and defence sites.
