Background

The guide to the comparison of land management options is intended to provide helpful and practical advice on methods for comparing land management options. It will recognise that different situations demand differing levels of rigour, detail and stakeholder involvement, and will describe a range of approaches that represent good practice.

The guidance is being developed using the SAFEGROUNDS document consultation process (pdf), which sets out the key stages of guidance development and consultation. In line with this process, the development of the guidance will be opened up at various stages for steering group and wider consultation through this website.
